Does anybody know why Jalopnik seems to be the only Kinja site with the new layout? I'm not saying the new layout is better looking or less glitchy, but why is it exclusively Jalopnik? I still see the banner for the new Kinja on Oppo, but it obviously hasn't actually been implemented.

We were the guinea pigs for the major update about this time last year as well. The staff says it's because we're communicative, but Jalopnik is also the smallest of the main Gawker Media sites, so they don't have to deal with as much backlash as they would if they rolled out a new iteration of Kinja to every site.

That's exactly what I did. If it stays off Tiger, why is everyone complaining?

They're complaining because it's going to force everyone to switch soon, and it's terrible. They want to get the feedback in before the switch is flipped for good.
